Home of Dreams Orphanage
We began supporting the Home of Dreams Orphanage in Uganda in 2020, when its director Wanume reached out for help with clothing and school supplies. Wanume cares for 20 children, ensuring each receives an education and the opportunity to build an independent future.
While we initially provided basic support, it was our Junior Board Chair, Victoria, who saw the need for a long-term solution. Taking initiative, she led her own project to create lasting change. Through her fundraising efforts, Victoria secured three acres of farmland for the orphanage, an initiative that is now fully her project. Thanks to her vision, Home of Dreams can now grow its own food, providing consistent nutrition while moving toward sustainability and independence. Victoria is currently raising funds to take the next steps, building a water well on the property, a chicken coop to further support food security, and a new orphanage building to provide safe, proper housing for the children.
Please join Victoria in supporting this life-changing work.

Eastern Europe Orphanages
Millions of children worldwide grow up without parental care. In countries like Russia and Ukraine, thousands of children live in institutional care, and studies have shown that a large percentage of orphans with disabilities face significant barriers to education, employment, and independent living as they age out of the system.
We have taken several orphanages for children with disabilities in Russia and Ukraine under our wing and visit them regularly. We support these children by helping them obtain life-changing prostheses, enabling many to leave their wheelchairs and walk, sponsoring educational experiences, and, most importantly, providing the love, dignity, and personal attention they deserve.
Our partners in this ongoing mission include Project Orphan Outreach and Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children. Through this collaboration, we have already helped transform the lives of many children (please see our Impact section).
We remain committed to expanding our impact by connecting each child with specialized programs tailored to their individual needs, helping them build a path toward independence and a brighter future.
We plan to continue helping orphans by pairing them with special programs that suit their individual needs and interests and really appreciate your support.

Santa Rosa de Lima Hospital
In November of 2025 our Junior Board member Alana Stuart visited Hospital Santa Rosa de Lima in Honduras and witnessed firsthand the challenges they face due to lack of essential medical equipment. The hospital is in urgent need of surgical supplies and rolling beds to provide proper care for the children at Nuevo Paraiso, an orphanage next door. Alana’s passion for medicine and her goal of becoming a neurosurgeon drove her to take action and set a goal to raise $50,000 for the hospital through the numerous fundraisers she will be hosting.

Dallas First-Gen Project
Victoria, the founder of the Dallas First-Gen Project, is a first-generation student herself and a founding lifetime member of the National Leadership Society of First-Generation Students. Through her own experience, she understands how much more difficult the path to college can be for students who are the first in their families to pursue higher education, especially those from immigrant families. Tasks that many students take for granted, such as choosing colleges, completing financial aid forms, meeting timelines, or preparing for standardized tests can be overwhelming without guidance at home.
Dallas is home to one of the largest Hispanic communities in the United States. Nearly 42% of Dallas residents identify as Hispanic or Latino, and many students in this community are the first in their families to pursue college. The poverty rate among Hispanics in Dallas has been estimated at around 25,9%, which is higher than the national average (Buckner International), making access to mentorship, information, and academic support especially important.
Victoria launched the Dallas First-Gen Project during her sophomore year of high school to help bridge this gap. She organizes free workshops on college applications, essay writing, and math preparation, and raises funds to provide professional tutors for students who need extra help to prepare for SAT/ACT and cannot afford it.
Dallas First-Gen Project’s mission is to ensure that talented and hardworking students have a fair opportunity to reach their full potential.
