Ukraine Online Schooling

In the aftermath of the events of 2022, Jasper Graf Beissel von Gymnich, a student at Staples High School in Westport, Connecticut, became increasingly concerned about the impact the ongoing conflict in Ukraine was having on children’s education. As reports emerged that thousands of educational institutions across Ukraine had been damaged or destroyed, he recognized the profound disruption students were facing in their daily learning and long-term academic futures. According to UNESCO and other international organizations, more than 4,000 educational facilities in Ukraine have been affected since 2022, with hundreds completely destroyed.

Believing that every child deserves access to education regardless of circumstance, Jasper decided to take action. He launched an initiative focused on supporting remote and online learning opportunities for students whose education has been interrupted by the ongoing crisis.

Through his fundraising efforts, Jasper aims to help provide digital learning resources, technology infrastructure, and educational support systems that can make remote learning more accessible, reliable, and sustainable for students across Ukraine. His goal is to help ensure that young people can continue learning, growing, and preparing for the future despite the challenges surrounding them.

Please join Jasper in supporting this meaningful and impactful work.
