Mikhail Gerega, a young man from an underprivileged family, living in a small village in Ukraine has reached out to us asking for help. A very unfortunate accident left him with a fractured spinal cord. Using his free, provided medical care, he received an emergency surgery to realign his spinal cord but was told he would never be able to walk again. However, being so young and full of hopes for his future, he decided not to give up and seek the right medical care to be able to walk one day. We flew him to Minsk, Belarus, for three weeks of full examination and rehabilitation in the country’s best medical facility
